HBO has pushed back the premiere date of former Lost writer Damon Lindelof's highly-anticipated new programme The Leftovers.
The Leftovers had been scheduled to air on June 15, but the pay channel is now moving Justin Theroux and Christopher Eccleston's drama series to June 29 at 10pm ET.
The Leftovers centers on a group of suburbanites who are left behind on earth when a Biblical Rapture takes place.
Theroux will play a police chief and father of two, while former Doctor Who star Eccleston has been cast as a former reverend who now publishes his own tabloid.
Amy Brenneman, Ann Dowd, Liv Tyler and Michael Gaston also have roles in The Leftovers.
Production on the series was halted briefly by HBO earlier in April due to scheduling constraints.
A place to update visitors with the latest news and information about Christopher Eccleston and his work and also to inform visitors about any updates/additions to my Chris related website.
