Nine years ago today, the nation sat down to check out the revival of some show called Doctor Who. The rest, as they say, is history - and the present, the future, and space.
To commemorate this fact the BBC have commissioned three snazzy images from Lee Binding: the designer behind series 7's 'movie style' posters and the artwork from the 50th anniversary special, The Day Of The Doctor. As you would expect, they star Christopher Eccleston's ninth Doctor, Billie Piper's Rose Tyler and Captain Jack Harness, played by John Barrowman.
